Musical or television programs that usually air during those times can be pre-recorded and then played during your SexSkit to give the illusion of a different time period of that day. Some couples may elect to make or purchase recordings of common daytime sounds, like city traffic, birds chirping, or the hustle and bustle of a busy office setting to create this illusory effect.

Like Time of Day, Location may also be difficult to recreate due to events or conditions beyond the control of the participants, or because of statutory constraints. SexSkits set in a car can be safely carried out in a couples garage, provided that it is private and not shared. Couples may elect to execute their sexSkits in a public place, but they must understand that they do so at their own risk. Likewise, if their home is private, then any room therein may be used to serve as the setting of their SexSkit. However, in shared housing arrangements or in situations where a couple is likely to be interrupted by relatives, roommates, or children, participants are encouraged to re-create to the best of their ability the scene in the privacy of their own bedroom or bathroom. But, if a couple enjoys relative privacy in their home, bar or stripclub scenes can be easily created in their kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms or dens. A living room is easily converted to a waiting room for office visit type settings, and a home office couldn't be more perfect for those sexSkits set in a business environment. Like other aspects in the development of your SexSkit, the setting variables are only really bound by your combined imaginations, and those restraints imposed upon us by society.
