Just as personal grooming is extremely important in your everyday personal life, it is also the case in terms of successfully implementing your SexSkit. The entire basis of sexual role-play is you and your partner's attempt to pretend that you are somebody else, and that you are with somebody else. Typically, you and your partner are very much aware of each other's appearance, your individual scents, grooming habits, and manner of dress. While one's manner of dress may be significantly altered by the use of costumes for the SexSkit, all other aspects would remain the same unless you take discernable steps to make those alterations, and actively create the illusion for one another that you are both someone else and that this tryst is a new experience for the both of you with each other.

The following are a series of recommendations that you may employ to change many if not all of these attrributes to successfully adopt a different look matching the character of your SexSkit. Remember, the ultimate goal is to make an appearance for your partner where they may reasonably pretend without too much effort that you are someone else entirely. A positive side effect is that with this different look, you too may more easily slip into character, and make the execution of your SexSkit powerfully stimulating and exciting.

Hair
Try a haircut, or re-styling it in a manner that fits the period or the look that you would like to achieve. If you wear your hair down, try pulling it up, or just the opposite.
If your hair is normally straight, try curling it. If it is curly, try straightening it.
Change the color. many stores sell wash out hair dyes that will work perfectly for this purpose.
Buy a wig in the color and style that you are attempting to achieve.
Makeup & Perfume
Use shades of blush, eyeliner, lipstick, etc. that you normally do not use, that fit into the appearance that you are trying to achieve.
Apply the make-up more or less heavily than you normally do.
Use mascara, or false eyelashes to achieve the look that you are looking for.
Use body glitter, which is intended for younger girls, but works well with many SexSkits, and is inexpensively available in your local drug store.
Use colored contacts to change your natural eye color or achieve an exotic or supernatural look.
Use a different perfume or perfumed body lotions to change your scent. Make an effort to choose a perfume that portrays the character you are trying to achieve. For example, when assuming the character of a teen, choose a sweet smelling, inexpensive perfume
Jewelry & Body Decorations
Wear large hoop-type or dangling eariings if the character calls for it.
Wear a series of rings on your fingers.
Wear a toe ring.
Wear a temporary belly button ring.
Necklaces, especially pearls, set a very formal tone should your character call for it.
Wear reading glasses with a low magnification. Many styles are available at your local drug store.
Wear temporary nipple rings, clitoris rings, etc. Many types of these items can be found online or in specialty adult novelty shops.
Wear temporary tatoos in surprising locations.
Body Hair
Pluck your eyebrows. Many drug stores carry small personal groomers for this purpose.
Shave your legs, thighs, armpits and or stomach if your character calls for this type of look.

Use hair bleaching creams in areas of concern.
Use wash out hair dyes to change the color of your eyebrows and or pubic hair.
Trim your pubic hair. Try using a small cookie cutter, such as a heart shape, as a template to achieve a shaped look. Many drug stores carry small personal groomers for this purpose.
Trim your pubic hair into a small "landing strip". Use a small personal groomer to get the stubble in sensitive places.
Completely shave your pubic hair. Use a small personal groomer to get the stubble in sensitive places. Only you and your partner will ever know!
Get a bikini or brazilian wax job.
Bathing
Take a shower or long hot bath. Wash your entire body and use lotion or bath oil so that your skin is silky smooth and fragrant.
Wash and blow dry your hair.
Finger & Toe Nails
Trim and file your finger and toe nails.
Polish your finger and toe nails. Use a shade you don't normally use.
Get a manicure and a pedicure.
Try French Nails for fingers and toes.
Personal Hygeine
Brush and floss your teeth. Use mouthwash, and have breath mints available.
Trim nose and ear hairs.
Use deodorant or anti-perspirant.
Avoid "gassy" foods.
General Appearance
Join a gym and/or establish a workout routine designed to shape-up and sculpt your body.
Use instant tanners or use a tanning salon to bronze your skin to the shade you are looking for.
A bit dramatic, but some may wish to pursue elective plastic surgery to correct flaws or enhance other attributes.
Groom yourself appropriately according to the character you will assume and the costume that you will be wearing in your SexSkit.
